Mark has often commented on how many times I say thank you – for helping with chores and shopping, or making my coffee, or putting air in the tires of my car. My sister Ann says that people have remarked on how often she says thanks as well. I guess it runs in the family. Gratitude. Appreciation. Thanksgiving. We are blessed in so many ways that we can see, and also in so many ways that are not yet evident to us. I give great thanks for it all.
I’ve made two new friends this month – Susan in South Dakota ordered My Comforter weighted blankets as gifts for two adult males. She asked for “outdoorsy”. We were both pleased with these!
And Stephanie in Georgia requested a My Comforter weighted blanket that was neutral and calming:
I also managed to complete a Maple Leaf Log Cabin quilt, just in time for Thanksgiving. I quilted it on the long arm, using a small leaf pattern.
Now, on to some Christmas stockings that I have promised my daughter and her family, and then a Christmas quilt!
