The Avengers
I worry sometimes that my 4-year-old grandson Damien is exposed to too much violence in this world. He already talks about the “good guys” and the “bad guys”, and he wants to dress up like Spiderman for Halloween (for the second year in a row). I think part of this fascination with superheroes and the like is a desire for control in our lives, sprinkled with a little bit of fairness – and maybe just a little bit of that “you’ll get yours” feeling to boot.
I just shipped out a really fun My Comforter weighted blanket, composed of Thor on the front and Captain America on the back. Needless to say, this customer is a big fan of the Avengers! Each side features a large fabric panel of the superhero, with a surrounding border of corresponding comic book strips to make up the extra large size. I think that this customer will be in the Avengers’ mighty hands to control that anxiety and provide peace and security!
