Call of the Wild
I’ve been patiently waiting for Chip’s birthday. He is a dear, dear family friend, and late this summer his mom Carroll commissioned me to make a very special My Comforter weighted blanket for Chip, for his birthday on October 7th. We collaborated secretly on just the right fabrics, and I finished it a couple of weeks ago. But I didn’t dare post pictures of it until today, for fear of spoiling Chip’s surprise!
Chip has an affinity for foxes. And he (along with his wife and his mom) live on a mountain in the middle of one of North Carolina’s beautiful forests. So when we ran across this gorgeous fabric panel of a fox and mountain ridge from the Call of the Wild collection by Hoffman Fabrics, Carroll and I knew it would be perfect for him. Happy birthday, Chip!
