Daybreak Quilt

The idea for my Daybreak Quilt came from two sources – the split nine patch quilt block used in a 1930’s quilt made by Henzeney Marie Hanson Barnes from New Jersey, and the lovely pastels of the thrift-store shirts I used to recreate it. Their colors remind me of a stunning sunrise I witnessed several years ago.
