Cross Stitch in Blue Quilt by Katie Longsmith, 2021 / size: 63″ x 63″ with two 14″ pillows/ vintage muslin squares with hand-embroidered blue cross stitch and muslin backing / feathered wreaths quilting design

I found 18 large muslin squares with the same hand-embroidered blue cross stitch on each of them, folded up and tucked away in a sewing cabinet at an estate sale. I knew right away that the seamstress had planned to make a quilt with them. And so I did that very thing, with love.
