Daybreak Quilt

The idea for my Daybreak Quilt came from the split nine patch quilt block used in a 1930’s quilt made by Henzeney Marie Hanson Barnes from New Jersey. The lovely pastels of the thrift-store shirts I used to recreate it reminded me of a stunning sunrise I witnessed several years ago.
