Sherie’s new beginnings

Sometimes, a custom quilt speaks of hope in the future, rather than memories of the past. Sherie contacted me to order a custom quilt for the bed in her new home. She sent me color swatches of the paint and pictures of the décor already in place so that I could shop for fabrics and quilt designs. As we emailed back and forth with pics and ideas, we finally came up with the plan for her quilt. And a few weeks later, it was done. Only after I received her review: “This quilt is so ME!”, did I realize that this quilt was not just about a new home – but about a new beginning for Sherie as well. It’s important to “mark the time” throughout our lives. A quilt can do just that.
